"Beautifully written, quirky and original, The Realistic Joneses is at times hilarious, yet sometimes melancholy... captivating performances in an intimate setting." WEEKEND NOTES
"The Realistic Joneses is exactly what it says on the tin. Real, warm, moving and delightfully weird. If you miss this one, you’ll be sorry." THEATRE TRAVELS
"This production of The Realistic Joneses is a brilliant piece of true independent theatre...I have not laughed this hard at a production in of the best manifestations of a classic American text you will be likely to see in 2019 on an Australian stage." LISA THATCHER
"A rare glimpse into suburbia and, despite the characters’ ordinariness, wrings empathy for them and their foibles in a clever and compassionate script." ALT MEDIA
"Will Eno has carefully crafted a unique slow-burning and quite wistful play…an impeccable ensemble cast at the height of their craft, with each actor delivering earnest character-driven performances." SYDNEY ARTS GUIDE
"With an excellent cast and creative team...The Realistic Joneses will embolden your outlook and give you a new zest for whatever life serves up." ABSOLUTE THEATRE
"Playwright Will Eno’s dialogue feels like high art, bizarre yet completely believable, for a way of excavating truths about the human condition, that only the medium of performance can deliver." SUZY GOES SEE
"Will Eno’s absurd and irregular script points to the overlooked familiarities of mundane suburban life and throws them into effect against illogical and humorous conversations." NIGHT WRITES

Named best American play of 2014

- The Guardian

In The Realistic Joneses, we meet Bob and Jennifer and their new neighbours, John and Pony, two suburban couples who have even more in common than their identical homes and their shared last names. As their relationships begin to irrevocably intertwine, the Joneses must decide between their idyllic fantasies and their imperfect realities.

"It is fully enjoyable as a piece of entertainment, and deeply valuable as a perspective-altering mirror of life." - LIMELIGHT
